getting to know me

This is me on my wedding day in Antigua with my wonderful and supportive wife. We had an amazing time and decided to elope for our wedding day and didn’t invite anyone! We had a great party celebrating with all our nearest and dearest when we returned. I totally understand how excited you get on the build up to your wedding day as it truly is the best day of your life!

I am 51 (a 70’s child) and live in Hampshire with three naughty, very vocal cats. I have two grown up sons who I am immensely proud of. The eldest is a mechanic for BMW and the youngest has just graduated gaining a First with Honours in Financial Mathematics. Occasionally they help their old Dad out for some extra cash by working as my Assistant at weddings.

My wife and I share a philosophy which is to enjoy life and to live it to its fullest. We work so we can live and people are always amazed about how much we squeeze in. It can be tiring however it’s always worth it and we have lots of great memories to look back on.

How it all starteD

I haven’t always been a wedding photographer. As a child I grew up next the the famous Wentworth Golf Course and as I grew into my teens began to work as a Caddy to earn some extra pocket money. Eventually I built up a good reputation and began to Caddy for professionals and celebrities and earned some good money (and stories from it too). My claim to fame is that I once Caddied for the late, great Seve Ballesteros which was a privilege. From caddying I worked for a major camera, film and wedding album supplier and this is where I started my photography career without really knowing it. Following this I then entered a 30 year career in criminal law before my wife bought me a camera as a wedding gift and then my love of photography started.

AND NOW…….

I really love my job as photography is a passion of mine. I really enjoy capturing the emotion from a wedding day, where people are having fun and enjoying themselves. It mirrors what I live for, which is why when I photograph your day, I am capturing your memories that will last a lifetime. I’m completely dedicated and focused on your day to ensure that I can capture the happiness, the fun, the craziness, the emotion and always the party!
