Victoria began her day at 7:30 am in the Gatehouse. As a photographer, I love this space; the winter light spilling through the windows created a soft, ethereal glow. Victoria wore a stunning dress found in a charity shop and expertly restored by Holly Winter Couture, paired with vintage-inspired hair and makeup by By Tallulah Mae and Lucy Rose.

A Candlelit Ceremony in the Bishop's Chapel


The ceremony took place at 1:00 pm in the intimate Bishop’s Chapel. For a Surrey wedding photographer, this chapel is a hidden gem. The centuries-old stone walls and warm candlelight provided a powerful, historic atmosphere for Tom and Victoria to exchange their vows.

One of the most moving moments was a reading of Sonnet 43 by Victoria’s grandmother, who traveled from the South of France to be part of the day.

Iconic Portraits & Confetti on the Stone Steps


After the ceremony, we headed to the iconic stone steps—a "must-have" for any Farnham Castle wedding. The mix of historic red brick and the panoramic views of the castle grounds provided the perfect backdrop for their confetti exit.

Despite the November chill, we took advantage of the "Golden Hour" across the gravel terrace and the castle ruins. Tom and Victoria requested a romantic, "old-school" style of portraiture, utilizing the shadows and textures of the castle walls to create something truly timeless.

The Great Hall Reception: Speeches & Saxophones


The wedding breakfast was held in the Great Hall. This is where the scale of a Farnham Castle wedding truly shines. Following the speeches, the room transformed for the evening party. A surprise saxophone performance by Beth Knight set the tone, followed by a Great Gatsby-inspired party atmosphere led by DJ Paul Watts.
